As you would expect, the Estee Lauder Advanced Night repair eye cream is to be applied over night. But you are also supposed to put it on when you wake up. The cream needs to be applied in three small dots and then patted into the skin. After a couple months of use I did start to notice an improvement of the appearance of the bags, dark circles, and wrinkles. But I wasn’t as impressed as I had been with other products.

It is to be applied with the supplied applicator in the morning and evening for best results, and is designed to heal the damaged caused to the skin around your eyes by environmental factors and free radicals.
Active Ingredients
This product includes ingredients for smoothing, like Cyclomethicone, Dimenthicone, and Poylsilicone 11. It also includes moisturizing agents, like Wheat, Algae, and Squalane (shark liver oil). Anti-oxidant components include Poria Cocos extract, birch, and barley. Anti-inflammatory agents include Chommile and Scutellaria Baicalensis extract.
What I Like About This Eye Cream
I really like the way this cream felt when I put it on. There was a sort of cooling sensation around my eyes that seemed to last for a while after I applied it. It really made my skin feel fresh, and invigorated. It had a pleasant texture and a great scent. It wasn’t as expensive as similar products marketed to be premium/”ultraluxe,” either.
What I Don’t Like About This Eye Cream
It’s still an expensive eye cream. And after using the whole jar, I still didn’t see a major improvement. I wouldn’t call it a total waste of money, because I could notice that the wrinkles were softened, as well as the dark spots and the puffiness, but not that much. I don’t think anyone who wasn’t being as critical as me would notice. It’s also not fun that I had to remember to apply it every morning and evening. Many products that work better only need to be applied once per day in the morning.
Overall Conclusion
If you are looking for a product that will be ultra effective, then this isn’t the one. While it does work and it can provide you with a good experience, there are some other products reviewed on this site that work a lot better.
