Loreal Revitalift Review

While I have always been worried about the appearance of the skin around my eyes, I became particularly concerned when I hit 30. The wrinkles and dark spots got worse, with the bags being absolutely horrid when I woke up in the morning. I decided to dig into all of the eye creams I could find in order to get the most effective product at combating the ugly appearance of these flaws AND keep them from getting worse.

The first few products I tried were the same that every other girl out there is probably trying, including L’Oreal Revitalift. This is probably one of the worst products I have used. Don’t get it, not even if you are in a pinch and can only go to the drug store.

No effect at all. I mean, sure, if I put it on and around my eyes I can feel that it’s there, and it looks a little different, but there is absolutely no positive or long term effects on the appearance of my eyes. It’s just awful and terrible. I can’t begin to express how disappointed I was with this product.

Product Description

Described as a product containing encapsulated Pr-retinol A, to ensure continuous, all-day delivery into skin’s surface, and able to firm skin in 6 hours. Claims of being able to dramatically reduce noticeable wrinkles around the eyes, as well as dark spots and puffiness are likely over exaggerated. This product is tremendously cheap, and doesn’t include any ingredients that really seem to improve the appearance of the female eye.

Active Ingredients

Active ingredeitns include Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Shorea Robusta Shorea Robusta Seed Butter, Paraffin, and Acetyl Trifluromethylphenyl Valylglicine.

What I Like About This Eye Cream

I didn’t like anything about this cream at all. I used a whole two bottles and it never worked. You would think after that much time it would work for me.

What I Don’t Like About This Eye Cream

I didn’t really like anything about this eye cream. I don’t like the pretentious instructions on applying it, and I don’t like the packaging. It doesn’t smell good and it doesn’t look good. The company seems to put out fake testimonials, especially when you consider that their website shows a positive overall review, but the rest of the internet seems to share my sentiment.

Overall Conclusion

Don’t waste your time or your money. You’re better of getting a latte and applying it to your eyes with your ring finger. If you are looking for an eye cream that actually works, you’re going to have to spend a couple of bucks. There are plenty of cheap creams that work well on this site. Just take a look around and you’ll find a few to get you started. Luckily, I do all of the reviewing so you don’t have to waste your time or money.
